Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Designer/Drafter) to lead the technical execution of CAD elevator components and system assemblies in Creo and Windchill.

The role acts as a CAD authority for methodologies, Pro/PROGRAM, TK Note automation, and engineering documentation, managing multiple priorities with cross-functional teams. The candidate will develop configurable Creo models, drive design standardization, review drawings for GD&T compliance, and mentor others while

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Creo and Windchill.
• Proven experience with Pro/PROGRAM and TK Note.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and configuration control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive schedules and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of complex CAD elevator components and system-level assemblies.
• Develop, modify, and maintain complex CAD models and engineering documentation.
• Create configurable models using Creo Pro/PROGRAM and automate TK Note tooling.
• Assess design changes, drive corrective actions, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support new and sustaining work.
• Mentor engineers on Creo, Windchill, Pro/PROGRAM, and TK Note.
• Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality design deliverables from intake to release.
