Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience or an Associates degree with related experience. A J-STD-001 soldering certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Preferred: J-STD-001 soldering certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment; mechanically inclined; basic computer navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various manufacturing equipment (air drills, rivet guns, sanders, drill presses) with proper training.
• Prepare and apply adhesive materials using a scale.
• Solder wires, terminals, and PCB components per J-STD-001 and IPC-610.
• Handle small hardware and hand tools.
• Inspect components and subassemblies for defects throughout the process.
• Verify completed assemblies meet quality standards.
• Maintain assembly and quality records as required.
• Communicate status and issues to the Assembly Manager.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
