Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA is seeking an Assembly C to perform electromechanical assembly tasks under supervision. The role involves wiring, core-to-final magnetic unit assembly, and following engineering drawings per work orders.

Soldering may be required to military specs, with certification as needed. Key duties include building crates, cable assemblies, reading BOMs, and maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 2 years related experience.
• 2–5 years experience assembling electro/mechanical hardware, preferably to military specs.
• Able to pass soldering test and be certified ANSI-J-STD-001 and/or IPC610.
• Must have good knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical parts and perform inner chassis wiring connections using various tools.
• Assemble magnetic units through all stages of the process, from core to final assembly.
• Build wood crates and pallets as needed.
• Perform simple to semi-complex cable assembly per drawings and orders.
• Read hardware descriptions on BOMs and identify characteristics.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure accurate time charging.
• Pass soldering tests and obtain required certifications.
