Position Details

Ultimate Staffing is seeking Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for our client in Fremont. These are 100% onsite, temp-to-perm roles, Monday-Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm, with a starting pay of $30-$35 per hour based on experience.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include: Performing complex technical operations on production and developmental equipment for the semiconductor and related industries. The candidate will work on multiple projects, assembling, integrating, and troubleshooting complex electrical and control systems.

Specific Duties

• Use manual tools to build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layout, cables, and wiring to schematics.
• Perform system wiring and integration of electrical components/modules.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues, including PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystems, using software and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues related to bill of materials, drawings, schematics, and control systems.
• Conduct final qualification testing of subsystems and systems.

Qualifications

• Prototyping experience in a production environment.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• May require travel to customer sites for installation or service.
• Desired: AA degree in electronics, industrial, or electrical fields.
• Experience with PLC ladder logic debugging or writing is a plus.
• Military electrician training is desirable.
