Selectemp in Albany, OR is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Assembler II for a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule with potential overtime. The role involves assembling mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical sub-assemblies for high-tech manufacturing equipment, with strict adherence to NEC, NFPA, and UL508A standards.

Start date ASAP. The position requires 1+ year of manufacturing assembly experience and a 2-year technical degree is preferred.

Qualifications

1+ years of manufacturing assembly experience.
2-year technical degree preferred.
Knowledge of AC/DC control circuits, PLC/PC control systems, pneumatic controls.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

Build and integrate mechanical, pneumatic, and robotic sub-assemblies using drawings, BOMs, and schematics.
Route air lines, plumbing components, fluid lines, and perform tube work with appropriate techniques.
Wire electrical panels, modules, and control circuits with precision per standards.
Conduct inspections, power-up testing, and safety/quality checks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and support audits (UL, CE, ETL).
Maintain quality logs, panel documentation, and checklists.
Assist with facility upgrades and mentor junior staff on wiring and quality standards.
