Job summary

Pro Resources Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build mechanical, electrical, and shipping assemblies per customer, quality, and engineering specs. You will work with hand tools, power tools, a forklift, and other equipment with safety as a daily priority.

The role requires reading drawings and schematics, prep work, and attention to detail. Expect a 6:00am-2:45pm schedule, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Trade school education plus 1 year of experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven mechanical ability or machine operator experience.
• Ability to accurately read measurements on assembly tools.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow instructions in English.
• Basic computer skills, electronics knowledge, and pneumatics experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics, work instructions, and verbal direction to assemble components correctly.
• Prepare fabrications for assembly by drilling, tapping, and cleaning.
• Check your work to make sure parts are assembled properly, and speak up when you spot a problem.
• Operate assembly equipment with minimal assistance.
• Keep accurate records, checklists, and logbooks, including QC testing and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare units and shipping materials for delivery.
• Take part in, and help lead, Lean, Operational Excellence, and other process improvement efforts.
• Keep your work area clean and organized using 5S practices.
• Operate and maintain a sit-down/stand-up forklift.
• Follow all plant and corporate safety policies and attend required training.
• Support the Technical Support Specialist and other areas as business needs change.
