Job summary

Technical Needs is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Portsmouth, NH to perform intricate wiring and harness assembly, including fiber optics, from blueprints and process sheets. You will bond, mold, and prepare products for final inspection while assembling connectors with simple tools.

The role requires 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, familiarity with cable assembly or fiber optics, good hand-eye coordination, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capability to pass vision

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience with cable assembly or fiber optics is a big plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with mechanical instruments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform intricate wiring and assembly of cables and cable harnesses, including fiber optics.
• Work from detailed blueprints and process sheets.
• Use bonding, molding and prepare products for final inspection.

Our client is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer specializing in designing assemblies, and harnesses for challenging environments various industries including the Aerospace & Defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for performing intricate wiring and assembly of cables and cable harnesses, including fiber optics, working from detailed blueprints and process sheets. You’ll use your skills in bonding, molding, and product preparation to ensure high-quality final inspection, all while handling the assembly of connectors and other components using simple mechanical tools.This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, especially those familiar with cable assembly or fiber optics, to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
