Job summary

Ardagh Group in Bridgeton, NJ, is seeking highly motivated qualified mechanics to join our fast-paced, high-speed 24/7 manufacturing operations in the glass packaging division. This role focuses on maintaining safety, equipment readiness, and production uptime on conveyors, sprays, ovens and printers.

Starting pay is $41.25 per hour, with future increases governed by the collective bargaining agreement. We offer medical, dental and vision plans, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid holidays

Qualifications

• Manufacturing Industrial 5+ years' experience and glass industry experience a plus.
• Achievement of an 70% score on the Mechanical Comprehension Test is required.
• Exposed to moderate to high noise level, Must be able to lift 50lbs plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a commonsense approach and good communication skills are necessary to be successful in this role.

• Conduct analysis by plant/item/shop as needed to focus improvement efforts.
• Communicate the quality vision and expectations.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this role is $41.25 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
