Job summary

ABB is seeking a Talent & Learning Partner for Electrification US to shape leadership development across the US. You will partner with HRBPs and the Global Talent & Learning team to design scalable programs for over 8,000 employees.

The role focuses on succession, pipeline development, and data-driven program improvement, with a preference for candidates near a US Electrification office (Cary, NC). Hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HR, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or Program/Project Management.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement talent or learning programs in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Proven track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships and influencing without direct authority.
• Experience with talent management tools and processes: succession planning, talent review, development plan frameworks, and competency-based development.

Responsibilities

• Talent Strategy & Business Partnership: Translate global Talent & Learning strategy into US-specific action plans with division HRBPs and US EL HR leaders.
• End-to-End Leadership Pipeline: Define a US-level strategy for leadership development across the full talent lifecycle and track high-potential talent.
• Succession Planning & Senior Talent Development: Execute talent management processes across five divisions; monitor readiness, IDP completion, and internal mobility.
• Program Scaling & New Program Development: Discover existing programs and scale US-wide; design and launch new initiatives.
• Data, Systems & Continuous Improvement: Ensure talent data accuracy in systems and monitor key metrics and opportunities.
