Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States seeks an Energy and Power Discipline Leader to drive electrification, EV charging, DERs, and microgrids across federal, state, and municipal clients. You will shape strategy, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and advance the practice through innovative designs and market insights.

You will mentor staff, manage complex programs, and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; PE license required.
• 12 years of related experience; equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the development of analysis, evaluation, design, and development of approaches and processes for electric vehicle fleet adoption by clients.
• Provide electrification and renewable energy advisory and design support to clients nationwide including business modeling and financial planning.
• Educate and provide intel to internal leaders on new policies and funding opportunities for electrification.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative analysis, including financial modeling and cost-benefit analyses.
• Champion R&D initiatives related to green/electrification/renewable energy to support emerging trends and client needs.
