Job summary

Island Airco seeks an Electrician with a sales focus to deliver exceptional service and energy-efficient solutions for customers in Eureka Springs, AR. You will diagnose, repair, and propose upgrades while building lasting relationships with homeowners.

Your role combines electrical expertise with in-home sales to identify opportunities for system enhancements and new installations, earning commissions on successful upgrades. Flexibility and a customer-first approach are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of Electrical Service experience.
• 1+ years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners via in-home presentation
• Electrical License or able to obtain within 60 days
• Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills
• Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills
• Assertive and confident personality
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks accurately
• Commitment to company values
• Ability to climb into and through attics and crawl spaces
• Ability to work outside and in extreme temperatures
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable & punctual attendance
• Ability to be flexible in working a variable schedule including evenings and rotational weekends
• Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations and educate them on potential improvements, upgrades, or repairs that will benefit them in the long run.
• Identify and present electrical products and service recommendations based on customer needs and system analysis. Close sales for system upgrades, new equipment installations, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Establish rapport and trust with customers by offering tailored solutions, handling objections with professionalism, and providing clear, honest advice.
• Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, follow-ups, and actively seeking potential service or upgrade opportunities while on the job.
• Work closely with our dispatch and sales teams to ensure timely scheduling and seamless follow-up on leads or job opportunities.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals while maintaining high standards of technical service.
