Job summary

Island-Airco, Inc. is hiring an Electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems for homeowners.

You will combine electrical expertise with sales to identify upgrade opportunities and close service or equipment installations that meet customer needs. You will work closely with dispatch and the sales team, build trust with clients, and pursue new business through referrals while maintaining high technical service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of Electrical Service experience is required.
• 1+ years of direct-to-homeowner sales experience is required.
• Electrical License or ability to obtain within 60 days is required.
• Strong sales, customer service and closing skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Assertive and confident personality with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedule flexibility; may include evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English (read, write, speak) is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company protocols.
• Engage customers in conversations about improvements or upgrades and close sales when appropriate.
• Identify and present electrical products and service recommendations based on customer needs.
• Establish rapport and trust with customers, offering tailored solutions and honest advice.
• Generate new business opportunities through referrals and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams for timely scheduling and follow-up.
