Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment across our manufacturing floor in Brookfield, WI. You will work on wiring, electronics, welding, and machine guarding while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You’ll operate lifts, read blueprints, and contribute to continuous improvement through hands-on fabrication and preventive maintenance. Join a team delivering reliable, high‑quality tools for professionals.

Qualifications

• Industrial trade training or 5 years maintenance experience.
• and we expect ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Certified forklift operator is preferred.
• Welding and industrial electricity/wiring skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and correct setups, tooling, and malfunctions.
• Operate personnel lifts and move equipment as needed.
• Repair and adapt equipment including lines, belts, guards, and piping.
• Build/fabricate devices to improve quality and production.
• Design and install guarding; wire machines and replace electronic boards.
