Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 to perform maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing and electrical. You will troubleshoot, repair and upgrade equipment, operate lifts and forklifts, and use CMMS for parts and work orders.

Ideal candidates will have welding and industrial electrical wiring skills, the ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
• Certified fork lift operator
• Welding
• Industrial electricity/wiring

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing and electrical areas
• Troubleshoot and repair machines; adjust equipment; replace components
• Use CMMS for MRO parts lookup, ordering and upkeep
• Operate personnel lifts and forklifts safely
• Adhere to safety rules and maintain clean work area
