Martin Marietta seeks an Electrical Technician to maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and develop electrical process control instrumentation to optimize production efficiency at the Mill Creek site. You will work under the Site Supervisor, inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to keep systems safe and efficient.

You will test with Voltmeters, Oscilloscopes, and Ohmmeters, maintain thorough maintenance records, and schedule routine tasks to minimize downtime while

Qualifications

• Vocational training or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year related experience.
• Knowledge of circuit analysis and electrical controls.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment and OSHA/MSHA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Determine reasons for malfunctions and create maintenance/repair plans.
• Repair electrical systems and components to keep them at full capacity under supervision.
• Test systems with voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance to reduce costs and prevent major issues.
• Participate in electrical field projects as needed.

Job Description:Job Summary:This position will be responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, consulting, researching, and developing electrical process control instrumentation for the purpose of obtaining optimum production efficiency under the supervision of the Site Supervisor.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Inspects electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issuesDetermines the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components, and creates a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problemRepairs electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity with a moderate degree of supervisionTests systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatibleReviews blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairsKeeps records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and usedEnsures all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costsParticipates in electrical field projects as neededIn addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs.
