Job summary

Martin Marietta in Ames, IA seeks an Equipment Operator to move raw materials from trains to stockpiles and to load finished products. You will start, monitor and regulate mobile equipment, following safety standards and operating procedures to keep production running smoothly.

Under supervision, you will adjust equipment to maximize throughput, troubleshoot minor malfunctions, and help maintain roadways and loading areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year related experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid US driver’s license.
