Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is hiring electricians to support our electrical, instrumentation, and controls solutions across the United States.

The role requires fabricating and installing a range of conduits, wiring, and components, reading blueprints, and complying with OSHA and NEC standards. Applicants must have at least 4 years of craft-specific experience and pass drug, background, and NCCER assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
• Pass NCCER Skill Assessment.
• Pass post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background checks.
• Read blueprints and NEC/National Electric Code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install rigid, aluminum, EMT, plasti-bond and PVC conduit.
• Use mechanical and hydraulic benders to shape conduit.
• Terminate motors, transformers, and associated electrical components.
• Perform MCC and switchgear work and troubleshoot energized motor controls.

The Position

We are looking for positive, energetic ELECTRICIANS with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Fabricate and install rigid, aluminum, E.M.T., plasti‑bond and P.V.C. conduit
• Use mechanical and 2” – 4” hydraulic benders
• Fabricate and install conduit supports
• Install wire and cable by either hand or machine in cable trays
• Perform MCC and switchgear work
• Perform troubleshooting on energized motor controls
• Fabricate and install breakers and fuses, cable trays, batteries, battery charger, buss duct, junction boxes, tagging, term, motors, and transformers
• Size thermal‑overloads, breakers, and fuses
• Terminate motors, transformers, stress cones and cable splicing
• Understand the proper use of hydraulic tools
• Read blueprints and national electric code requirements
• Use electrical equipment testers including V.O.M., AMP meter and 1000‑volt insulation tester
• Apply communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations
• Meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment
• Pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks
• Have minimum 4 years craft‑specific experience
