Job summary

ISC Constructors, LLC is seeking positive, energetic electricians with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. The role involves fabricating and installing conduit, MCC and switchgear work, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code.

Candidates must have at least four years craft-specific experience, pass a post-offer drug/alcohol test and background checks, and meet NCCER Skill Assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MCC and switchgear work and troubleshoot energized motor controls.
  • Size thermal overloads, breakers, and fuses; terminate motors and transformers.

Job description

Position

We are looking for positive, energetic electricians with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

  • Fabricate and install rigid, aluminum, E.M.T., plasti‑bond and P.V.C. conduit
  • Use mechanical and 2–4 inch hydraulic benders
  • Fabricate and install conduit supports
  • Install wire and cable by hand or machine in cable trays
  • Perform MCC and switchgear work
  • Troubleshoot energized motor controls
  • Fabricate and install breakers and fuses, cable trays, batteries, battery charger, buss duct, junction boxes, tagging, term, motors, and transformers
  • Size thermal‑overloads, breakers, and fuses
  • Terminate motors, transformers, stress cones and perform cable splicing
  • Use hydraulic tools properly
  • Read blueprints and adhere to national electric code requirements
  • Use electrical equipment testers including V.O.M., AMP meter and 1000‑volt insulation tester
  • Apply communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations
  • Meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment
  • Pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks
  • Have minimum four years craft‑specific experience
