Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial electrical networking.
• Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems, complex motor controls, VFD networks, MCCs, and power distribution equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, including detailed control schematics.
• Knowledge of hazardous material handling, grounding/bonding, confined spaces, arc flash, LOTO, and NEC basics.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety practices and SOPs for safe performance of work.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment, conducts safety inspections, and investigates incidents as required.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains electrical components, wiring, and controls on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoots faults using test equipment and documentation; performs preventive maintenance.
• Programs, modifies, and troubleshoots PLC-controlled equipment to support reliable operation.
• Leads maintenance planning, startup, and testing during shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Mentors Level I electricians on safe work practices and basic tasks.
