Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Electrician to assemble electrical systems in our new campus facility and maintain plant electrical infrastructure. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and may include special projects to support safety, sustainability, and growth.

Responsibilities include installation, wiring, testing, and maintenance of high/low voltage systems on manufactured products; travel to SPX locations for training or support may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or valid state/local electrician license.
• 4+ years in industrial electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting.
• NFPA 70E Arc Flash and OSHA 10/30 certifications.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, VFDs, and testing tools.
• Familiarity with electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Preferred PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Safety‑oriented, team player, and familiar with standard computer apps.
• Adhering to OSHA regulations and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment within assembled products.
• Install conduits and lighting fixtures in assembled products.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical systems on production equipment.
• Maintain electrical infrastructure and perform planned maintenance.
• Support safety initiatives and process improvements.
• Update maintenance records in software systems.
• Assist in developing new manufacturing cells and processes.
