Job summary

Dart Container seeks two experienced Electricians to maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems on high-speed manufacturing lines. You’ll work with PLCs, industrial controls, and complex circuits to keep equipment running at full power.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
  • Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
  • Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
  • Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
  • Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment

Shift Availability:
  • Fulltime Regular position on 11a-7:30p
  • Temporary position on 7p-7a (12-hour shifts on 2-2-3 rotation with every other weekend required. Position averages 40 hours per week.)

What you’ll do…

What we’re looking for…

5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training

High School diploma or equivalent required

Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC

Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges

Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

  • Other electrician levels can be considered for candidates with more experience.
