Job summary

Dart Container is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Illinois. The role requires maintaining, installing, and repairing equipment and electrical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs, to ensure continuous operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable training.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure gauges.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment
