Job summary

Dart Container in Dallas is seeking an experienced Temporary Electrician to keep our high-speed manufacturing lines running at full power. You will maintain, install, and repair electrical systems and equipment on the plant floor.

This temporary role offers a 7a-3p shift, with limited medical benefits for temporary staff and opportunities to grow within a safety-driven, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable trade training.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency reading/writing wiring diagrams and programming PLCs; basic NEC understanding.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gauges.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair electrical equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose malfunctioning components and replace damaged parts.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems on high-speed lines.
• Read wiring diagrams and program PLCs.
• Use maintenance systems for work orders and breakdown reporting.

What you’ll do…

Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.

Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges

Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.

Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures. Replace damages or broken components

Troubleshoot electrical equipment

What we’re looking for…

5 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable experience with trade school or training

High School diploma or equivalent required

Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC

Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges

Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

• Other electrician levels can be considered for candidates with more experience.
