Job summary

Dart Container is hiring an Electrician in the Randleman, NC area to keep high-speed manufacturing lines running at full power. This role involves maintaining, installing and repairing electrical equipment across the facility, including transformers, motors and light fixtures, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and program PLCs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery, or comparable trade training.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in reading/writing wiring diagrams, programming PLCs, and a basic understanding of NEC.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature/pressure gauges.
• Familiarity with a variety of tools and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair equipment, electrical systems and facility electrical systems.
• Utilize electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and temperature and pressure gauges.
• Maintain and utilize maintenance systems for work orders, breakdown reporting and track machine modifications.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and light fixtures; replace damaged components.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment.

What you’ll do
