Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical, a leading HVAC and electrical services provider, is seeking an Electrician Foreman to supervise and mentor a crew of electricians and helpers in our South Amboy, NJ operations. You will plan layouts from blueprints, ensure NEC and local code compliance, and drive on-site safety and quality.

This role emphasizes leadership, communication with clients, and efficient project execution. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of electrician experience (2+ in supervision), strong code

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and safety regulations.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics; ability to plan and lay out project work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians and helpers on job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
• Plan and lay out project work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality control, and resolve issues quickly.
• Coordinate material deliveries, tool usage, and equipment needs to maintain project efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, project managers, and team members regarding progress and timelines.
• Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members.
• Enforce all safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance.
