Wrench Group in Austin, TX is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. You will perform basic electrical tasks, assist senior electricians, and gain hands-on training toward your electrical license.

This role emphasizes customer service, safety, and reliability as you assist wiring, conduit, and installations, while learning on the job in a fast-paced, supportive environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Mechanical aptitude and physical capability to perform tasks daily.
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders in various settings.
• Integrity and a positive image for the company.
• Provide exceptional customer service on-site.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and follow directions independently.

Responsibilities

• Gather tools and supplies for the work site.
• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Trace out short circuits in wiring.
• Assist lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors.
• Maintain tools and keep supplies in order.
• Clean work area and dispose of scrap and waste.
• Assist pulling wire and positioning materials.
• Operate hand tools under supervision.
• Assist in mounting and strapping conduit.
• Assist senior personnel in electrical installations and terminations.
