Job summary

Vylor, Inc. seeks a Plant Electrician to ensure safe and reliable electrical operation across our York, Nebraska facility.

You will perform repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC, while supporting capital projects and maintaining detailed records. The role requires 2 years of industrial electrical experience, a journeyman license where required, and familiarity with NEC, PLCs, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Requires two years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or related education.
  • Journeyman electrical license may be required in some states.
  • Comfort with hypertension? (ignore) — focus on NEC knowledge and safety.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical repairs and maintenance to ensure safe plant operations.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and service electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, and HVAC.
  • Create, modify, and close work orders in CMMS; document labor and parts.
  • Support capital projects and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain and update equipment records and site/system prints.
  • Troubleshoot HMI systems using Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
  • Estimate labor and equipment costs for projects and repairs.

As the Plant Electrician, you will focus on ensuring safe and reliable operation of plant electrical systems by performing electrical repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance in compliance with company safety standards. It includes maintaining and improving electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems; supporting capital projects; and recommending safety and process improvements.
