Vylor, Inc. in York, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plant operations with corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance. The role requires 12-hour shifts, night or day, including weekends, with overtime potential.

You will create and close CMMS work orders, coordinate with vendors, and maintain equipment records while upholding safety standards. Strong mechanical aptitude, a valid US driver’s license, and basic computer skills are essential; prior maintenance experience

  • Experience with maintenance in manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • Create, modify, and close CMMS work orders with accurate labor and parts data.
  • Support capital projects with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain plant shop and tools; assist with grounds and facility maintenance.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance tools to identify issues and update PM plans.
  • Maintain detailed equipment records and prints; plan projects with Operations to avoid production disruption.

As the Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll support plant operations by performing corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and uptime. It includes rapid troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues quickly and keep the facility on track to meet production goals. Responsibilities also include managing assets and documentation in the EAM/CMMS system, coordinating planned work and parts, improving PM plans, applying condition-based monitoring, and supporting reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
