Vylor, Inc. in Hedrick, Iowa, is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our laboratory and office environments.

You’ll perform building, mechanical, and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems, and coordinate with contractors and vendors. We value hands-on problem solving, documentation in the CMMS, on‑call rotation, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance or skilled-trade experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical, and building systems.
• Knowledge of 110/220V, single-phase and 3-phase systems.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform building, mechanical, and preventive maintenance to support employee and laboratory environments.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, and facility systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal partners.
• Prioritize work using PM systems and work orders; ensure timely, code-compliant completion.
• Order materials and maintain accurate documentation in the CMMS.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
