Job description

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Critical Power Regional Director, the Electrician will lead electrical work related to installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment for Power customers.

The candidate should be able to independently interpret schematics or blueprints and perform tasks based on instructions. A positive attitude, teamwork, and safety commitment are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core responsibilities include:

• Perform installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipment on-site for clients.
• Oversee network services and conduct tests on equipment and circuits.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct system tests to ensure error-free operation.
• Maintain customer relationships and adhere to company policies.
• Educate clients on proper equipment usage.
• Follow all safety and building codes.
• Recommend equipment upgrades while maintaining current inventory.
• Update project records and prepare reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial electrical installation.
• California Electrician Trainee (ET) card.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

• Travel up to 50%.
• Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, stairs, and ramps.
• Use hands and arms for grasping and working with objects.
• Push and pull using hands, arms, and legs.
• Work in restricted spaces on hands and knees.
• Operate machinery controls with feet or legs.
• Good vision for working with small objects and reading.
• Frequent sitting and driving.
