Job summary

Generac seeks an experienced electrician to join its Dealer Talent Network. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial properties, reading blueprints and diagrams, and ensuring NEC compliance.

You’ll communicate clearly with customers, complete work orders accurately, and collaborate with team members to keep projects on schedule. Valid driver’s license and 3–5 years of electrical experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical experience in residential or light commercial work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of NEC and local building codes.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
• Install wiring, electrical panels, outlets, switches, lighting, and other components.
• Diagnose electrical problems and propose effective solutions.
• Ensure NEC and local code compliance on all work.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Explain repairs and recommendations to customers professionally.
• Complete work orders and documentations accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
