Ideal candidates have 3+ years in the electrical field, generator installation experience preferred, with a strong grasp of electrical codes and blueprint reading. Valid driver's license required for on-site visits.

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of residential standby generator systems from setup to completion.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure work complies with safety regs, codes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with office and operations teams with progress updates.
• Maintain organization and inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles.

What You'll Do

• Manage the installation of residential standby generator systems from initial setup through final completion.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure generator systems operate reliably.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable safety regulations, electrical codes, and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with office and operations teams by providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and completion status.
• Maintain accurate organization and inventory of tools, equipment, materials, and service vehicles.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in the electrical field
• Generator installation and experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license
