Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control with Class A Electrician.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with calibration of in-plant electrical equipment.
  • Maintain indoor/outdoor plant lighting systems.
  • Run conduit and initiate new electrical circuits.
  • Read and interpret a tape measure.

Job description

We are hiring anElectricianto assist in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and maintaining our plant equipment and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Focus:
  • Troubleshoot, assemble, disassemble, and perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
  • Perform basic plumbing, welding, and operate shop machinery, including cutting torches, plasma cutters, and cut-off saws.
  • Read and interpret basic machine diagrams and plant layout drawings to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
  • Help maintain the plant fire system and participate on the plant emergency response team.
Electrical Focus:
  • Run conduit, initiate new electrical circuits, and assist with calibrating in-plant electrical equipment.
  • Interpret complex electrical drawings using advanced shop math and handbook formulas.
  • Maintain indoor/outdoor plant lighting systems and manage inventory control alongside Class A Electricians.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Technical Training & Experience:
    • 2–3 years of specialty or technical training, plus 1–2 years of mechanic/electrician experience.
    • 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • For Electrician Focus: 1–3 years of experience with industrial electrical systems and a valid state‑level electrician license/certification.
  • Certifications & Equipment Skills: Forklift certification required; ability to operate scissor lifts and Genie booms.
  • Tools & Technical Skills: Must own a personal set of industrial/electrical hand tools. Proficient with tape measures, precision instruments, and advanced shop math.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and respond to call-ins on short notice.

salary: $61,755 - $63,169.6 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 2 PM - 12:30 AM

Responsibilities (Electrician B)
  • Interpret complicated drawings, using advanced shop math and handbook formulas.
  • Perform inventory control in conjunction with the job of a Class "A" Electrician.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned machinery and/or equipment.
  • Assist with the calibration of all in-plant electrical equipment.
  • Maintain plant lighting systems, inside and outside of the building.
  • Run conduit and/or initiate new electrical circuits.
  • Requires the ability to use advanced shop math and use a wide variety of precision instrument and devices.
  • Communicate, accept input, and follow instructions from Electrician A or Lead Person.
  • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
The essential functions of this role include:
