Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Electrician for our manufacturing operations in Riverview, FL. You will perform electrical assembly, wiring, conduit bending, and component installation for specialized equipment, under supervision of the Electrical Team Manager.

The role requires reading schematics, testing installations, troubleshooting faults, and maintaining safety standards. Eligible candidates will have a High School diploma and preferably a Journeyman license.

Qualifications

  • Active Journeyman Electrician certification or license is preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-hire background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, install electrical components and conduit from schematics, blueprints, and work orders.
  • Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for operational accuracy and resistance factors.
  • Identify defects, troubleshoot, repair, or replace components to meet engineering requirements.
  • Read schematics/diagrams/work orders and ensure conformance to customer specs and safety standards.
  • Operate fabrication tools and maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our manufacturing operations team. In this role, you will perform essential electrical assembly, wiring, conduit bending, troubleshooting, and component installation for specialized equipment. Working under the guidance of the Electrical Team Manager and alongside engineering staff, you will ensure all work meets exact customer specifications and strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Assembly & Installation: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders to assemble, wire, and install electrical components, subassemblies, and conduit.
  • Inspection & Testing: Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for operational accuracy and resistance factors. Measure and adjust voltages as required.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Identify defects, adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to ensure full compliance with engineering requirements.
  • Fabrication & Tool Operation: Drill, tap, cut, and fabricate parts or structures using hand and power tools, calipers, cutters, saws, and related shop equipment.
  • Operational & Safety Support: Maintain work areas according to 5S principles, follow safety practices, tag stock inventory, and assist with material distribution and packaging finished assemblies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and NFPA 70E safety practices.
  • Blueprint Reading & Assembly: Proven ability to read and interpret complex schematics, diagrams, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on Experience: Demonstrated skill in electrical component testing, troubleshooting, conduit bending, and precise tool operation.
  • Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required. (Active Journeyman Electrician certification or license is preferred).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform work requiring high manual dexterity in a manufacturing environment.
  • General Requirements: High attention to detail, communication skills, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen.

salary: $47,850 - $54,080 per year

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Electrical Team Manager, the Electrician performs skilled electrical work that includes but not limited to: assembly, wiring, termination, bending conduit, troubleshooting, repair, and component installation work in support of manufacturing operations. The role reads and interprets schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports; ensures work conforms to customer and engineering requirements; coordinates with supervisors and engineers to resolve production issues; and supports safe, accurate, efficient completion of electrical assemblies and related production activities.

Preferred: Active Journeyman Electrician Certificate of Competency or license issued by a Florida Municipality.
