Dura-Line, part of Orbia Connectivity Solutions, is seeking an Electrician in Gainesville, TX to support industrial maintenance and electrical systems on the plant floor.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree or electrical cert and 3–5 years of hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and electrical wiring. The position offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, VFDs, AC-DC drives and relay logic systems.
• Perform control panel troubleshooting and wiring.
• Instruct co-workers on PLC, VFD and AC-DC drive logic.
• Use a volt meter; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors and AC-DC systems; troubleshoot circuits.
• Assist maintenance with rebuilds, shutdowns and installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend changes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist departments with breakdowns.
• Follow safety requirements.
• Perform daily maintenance sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:

• Move around obstacles, access lift trucks, wear PPE, use ladders, work on the plant floor for 8-12 hours, and work around hot machinery, noise and weather conditions.


• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

The compensation for this position is typically start at $28.00 hr.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
