Job summary

Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our Elyria, OH area. You will interface with production and quality teams to drive quality, production efficiency, and Lean initiatives through defining processes, BOMs, ERP routing, and tooling requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams on capital projects, analyze test data for trends, and collaborate with suppliers to improve component quality, while supporting ISO and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Industrial or Mechanical acceptable.
• 5 years of experience in plastics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Application engineering experience preferred.
• FMEA experience is a plus.
• DOE and statistical analysis experience desired.
• CAD experience desired.
• Equipment specification, qualification, and automation experience required.
• Ability to lead and supervise small cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed in office and plant/warehouse environments.
• May require operating or working around forklifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• May involve exposure to weather, noise, and other plant conditions.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Our Offer:

The compensation for this position is typically range from $78,000-$126,000 annually.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
