Job summary

Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business, is hiring an Electrician in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, AC-DC drives, and relay logic, plus wiring control panels.

You will work a night schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation with 8–12 hour shifts, 15 days per month, and every other weekend. The position offers a $35+/hour starting pay and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree/electrical certification or equivalent experience.
• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills
• 3-5 years of hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, VFD, AC-DC drives and relay logic systems.
• Perform control panel troubleshooting and wiring.
• Instruct co-workers on PLC, VFD and AC-DC drive logic.
• Use a volt meter; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors and AC-DC systems; troubleshoot circuits.
• Assist maintenance with rebuilds, shutdowns and installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend changes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist departments with breakdowns.
• Follow safety requirements.
• Perform daily maintenance sheets.

Dura-Line is hiring for a Electrician in [Salt Lake City, UT]

Starting Pay: $35.00/HOUR & UP, Depending on Experience with a SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED!: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

Schedule:

• NIGHT SHIFT 645pm-7am on a 2-2-3 SCHEDULE
• WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN
• OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, Then REPEAT.
• Only Work 15 days a month!!!!
• Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!!!
• One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
• Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime)

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Move around obstacles, access lift trucks, wear PPE, use ladders, work on the plant floor for 8-12 hours, and work around hot machinery, noise and weather conditions.
• Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.

The compensation for this position is typically start at $35+/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long‑term incentive compensation.
