Job summary

Central Stone Company in Florissant, MO is seeking an Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install electrical systems across multiple quarry locations in the St. Louis region.

You will provide technical support, work with operations managers on projects, and perform preventative maintenance, with some weekend work and potential for a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial electrical equipment.
• Familiar with 3-phase power distribution systems.
• Ability to work weekends and with flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Immediately support operations during unscheduled electrical downtime.
• Work on electrical projects assigned by operations manager.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment powering crushers, screens, and conveyors.
• Perform preventative electrical maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Assist engineering projects as needed.
• Hands-on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems.
• Understand 3-phase power distribution systems.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to work some weekends and flexible schedules.

Electrician Responsibility Priorities:

• First responsibility: Immediately support operations during unscheduled electrical downtime
• Secondary responsibilities: Work on electrical projects assigned by operations manager

General tasks for Electricians include, but not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain malfunctioning electrical equipment that is commonly used to power crushers, screens, conveyors for aggregate processing
• Perform preventative electrical maintenance routines to help eliminate unscheduled electrical downtime
• Provide assistance for engineering projects as needed
• Hands‑on experience installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems.
• Understanding of 3‑phase power distribution systems
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to work some weekends and flexible schedules as required
