Job summary

Central Stone Company in Florissant, MO, is seeking a Second Shift Quarry Superintendent (Manager) for the Fort Bellefontaine Quarry. This 2nd shift role runs 4pm–2am, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays to meet customer and plant needs.

You will direct production and maintenance, ensure equipment readiness, and lead a safety-conscious team while coordinating with area managers to balance inventory and demand.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations, working in tandem with the company Safety Manager.
• Direct and supervise all production & maintenance activities.
• Ensure all equipment at the plants is properly maintained and ready for operation.
• Audit existing maintenance plans and modify as required in an effort to strive for optimal efficiency of plant operations at all times.
• Work in coordination with the Area Production Manager and Area Sales Manager to determine required inventory and production demands.
• Ensure the competence and development of employees by initiating training, coaching, counseling, or discipline procedures on a continuous basis.
• Work in coordination with the Mine Development Department to execute efficient extraction of limestone per the engineered mine design plan.

We are currently seeking candidates for Second Shift Quarry Superintendent (Manager) at our Fort Bellefontaine Quarry (Florissant, MO). This is a 2 nd shift position, with general hours of 4pm to 2am, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays will be required, depending on customer/company needs.

Major Quarry Superintendent (Manager) Responsibilities Include:
