Job summary

Washington Co in Montana is seeking an experienced electrical technician for a mining environment to support complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits. You will maintain electrical equipment throughout the mine and mill, ensure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations, and perform other duties as assigned to keep operations safe and productive.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits.
• Experience in the electrical field is preferred.
• The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
• Industrial background with knowledge in three phase power, medium voltage, MCC installation and repair and conduit bending, and installation preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics helpful.
• Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling, along with maintenance cross-training and any overtime shifts worked in maintenance will also be considered.
