Job summary

Washington Corporations is seeking an experienced electrical technician in Butte, Montana. You will support complex instrument and electrical repairs, maintain electrical equipment, and ensure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support for complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment throughout the mine and the mill.
• Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations.

Job description

• Support for complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment throughout the mine and the mill.
• Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution and installation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits.
• Experience in the electrical field is preferred.
• The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
• Industrial background with knowledge in three phase power, medium voltage, MCC installation and repair and conduit bending, and installation preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics helpful.
• Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling, along with maintenance cross-training and any overtime shifts worked in maintenance will also be considered.
• Safety record, attendance and work performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
