Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC is seeking an Electrical/Wiring Technician. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. Hourly rate is $19.24–$24.05 with eligibility for the employee variable incentive program.

You will read manufacturing information, select wires, install correctly, ensure safety, quality inspections, and participate in process improvements.

This role requires basic wiring experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work legally in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months wiring experience in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with wiring diagrams and bill of materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical switchboards or panelboards per drawings and BOMs.
• Use hand tools and follow safety policies including PPE and 5S.
• Read wiring diagrams and execute accurate wire installs.
• Identify nonconforming parts and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Cross-train and cover other roles as needed.
