Emerson Electric Co. is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Utility Sales Specialist to join our North American sales team in the Birmingham, AL area. You will promote Greenlee & RIDGID brands, lead field demos, and coordinate with Territory Managers to drive utilities market growth.

The role requires strong communication, a minimum of 3 years in utilities sales, and up to 50% travel. You will develop business plans and forecasts, and become the product and pricing expert for your market.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related Sales, Marketing, or Electrical field experience in the utilities market.
• Strong communication skills, in a matrix environment, with coaching experience.
• Solid business acumen and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Proven track record of achieving goals in Electrical Utility market.

Aufgaben

• Direct the direction, coordination, and growth of utility market sales through direct customer contact and coordination with local ProTools Territory Managers.
• Provide coaching and direction to regional Territory Managers in a matrix-managed environment.
• Perform field product demonstrations, training, and technical support with end-users and distribution partners.
• Drive strategic new products sales and expand markets and share.
• Develop, present, and execute annual business plans to deliver incremental sales growth.
• Develop and manage monthly/yearly sales forecasts.
• Own relationships with Key Distributor Partners and End Users.
• Be subject matter expert for product, applications, and pricing program.
• Support regional and national training programs and special projects.
