Job summary

Emerson is seeking a highly motivated Utility Sales Specialist to join the North American sales team. The role focuses on selling Greenlee & RIDGID tools to large Utilities in Texas, with coordination across Territory Managers and field demonstrations in Dallas, Houston, or Austin regions.

The position requires 3+ years in related sales or electrical fields, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 50% including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related Sales, Marketing, or Electrical field experience in utilities.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a matrix environment and coach Territory Managers.
• Solid business acumen, able to work independently and in a team.
• Proven ability to formulate, present, execute, and measure Business Plans.
• Track record of achieving goals and sales targets in Electrical Utility market.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate growth of all utility market sales through direct customer contact and coordination with ProTools Territory Managers.
• Provide coaching and direction to regional Territory Managers in a matrix-managed environment.
• Perform field product demonstrations, training, and technical support for end-users and distribution partners.
• Drive new product sales and solutions to expand markets and share.
• Develop and manage annual business plans and monthly/yearly sales forecasts.
• Own relationships with Key Distributor Partners and End Users; act as product subject matter expert.
