Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Unit Writer to support accurate billing by closely working with Field Supervision. You will interpret and code job documents, compare as-built data, and balance material issued against customer statements.

The role requires reading distribution prints and traveling to job sites as needed, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and the company WMS program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical utility construction prints.
• Understanding of electrical line construction.
• Travel to job sites; valid driver’s license.
• 1-3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Sends and responds to emails, both internally and externally.
• Reads electric distribution construction prints.
• Enters and/or deletes necessary job package data.
• Analyses as built construction prints, photos and job packages.
• Recognizes and enters data the field crews missed on the as built.
• Able to use customer’s WMS Program for additional data entry and analysis.
• Travels to job sites to obtain any additional information to complete the job package ready for billing.
