Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Unit Writer to collaborate with field supervision and accurately capture construction activity for timely billing. The role involves comparing, interpreting, and coding job documents and balancing material usage against customer statements.
The position requires reading electrical distribution prints, data entry in the billing package, and occasional travel to job sites. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and a willingness to travel are essential.
The Unit Writer works closely with Field Supervision to accurately capture construction activity in order to ensure correct and timely billing. The Unit Writer compares, interprets, corrects, and codes job documents issued by customers and altered by field personnel for billing purposes. The Unit Writer inventories and balances material used against material issued statement provided by the customer.
