Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, commission, and service UPS and power products across customer sites. You will travel and perform on-site tasks, coordinate with customers, and ensure first-time fixes where possible.

The role requires 4+ years in related field, military experience preferred, and a strong focus on safety and documentation. Vertiv offers training, tools, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience ASEET/AMEET preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Interpersonal and Administrative Skills: communicate professionally and respectfully.
• Time management: prioritize and balance technical and admin tasks.
• Collaborative with peers, customers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Follow written technical documentation to perform service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies and procedures.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based on training.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and related notices.
