Power Design, Inc. seeks an experienced electrician to lead hands-on technical training in our state-of-the-art facility, mentor apprentices, and support growth of field and office staff. You’ll conduct evaluations for new hires and promotions, influencing who joins and advances within the organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician with Journeyman or Master status or Florida journeyman eligibility.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for training delivery.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong teaching, public speaking and learning facilitation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willing to adjust hours to support training needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person, hands‑on training to apprentices and staff at training facilities and on sites.
• Teach Best Practices, safety expectations and electrical standards using real‑world examples.
• Conduct technical evaluations for new hires and promotions.
• Mentor apprentices with classroom, virtual, and lab‑based learning.
• Design, develop and maintain training content, materials and assessments.
• Collaborate with SMEs and field leaders to improve learning outcomes.
• Interface with apprenticeship and industry organizations (IEC, ABC, etc.).
• Represent Power Design in the community and support workforce development initiatives.
• Perform other duties as required.
