Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of industry experience in building trades with AC+DC drives, PLC troubleshooting and wiring terminations.
• Possess or qualify for a Virginia professional license and endorsement.
• Be recommended by the Division Superintendent and approved by the School Board.
• Education; Experience; Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets student needs.
• Develop authentic, hands-on learning lessons.
• Instruct classes at designated locations and times.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters student involvement and learning objectives.
• Provide an instructional program meeting diverse student needs.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Promote the program and coordinate with counselors and administrators.
