Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Test Technician in West Palm Beach, FL to support production by performing electrical tests and documenting results. You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Quality and Production to improve reliability.

The role involves reading schematics, handling test data, and assisting cable harness activities on a second shift in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing.
• Experience with VSWR, insertion loss, phase, time delay, and capacitance testing.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings.
• Experience using network analyzers and multimeters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing per procedures and specs.
• Calibrate network analyzers as needed for accuracy.
• Conduct in-process and final testing during manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose corrective actions.
• Create clear test data sheets documenting procedures and results.
• Manage test data for traceability and records.
• Support harness assembly and read schematics as needed.
• Use oscilloscopes and network analyzers for testing.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to improve processes.
